Hallittava kytkin LevelOne Hilbert 28-porttinen Gigabit Smart Lite

The LevelOne GES-2128 Hilbert 28-Port Gigabit Smart Lite is a managed Layer 2 Ethernet switch designed for business networks. It offers 24 Gigabit RJ45 ports plus 4 Gigabit combo RJ45/SFP ports, a switching capacity of 56 Gbit/s and an 8000-entry MAC address table. The switch supports common IEEE standards for reliable connectivity and can be rack-mounted for straightforward installation.

Advantages

The GES-2128 combines gigabit copper and SFP fiber connectivity in a compact, black metal chassis, providing flexible uplink and access port options. Its Layer 2 feature set delivers essential traffic control and VLAN support while the hardware performance and 56 Gbit/s switching capacity help maintain stable throughput for small to medium enterprise deployments. The device is compliant with multiple IEEE standards and supports an 8000-entry MAC table for effective MAC address handling.

Suitable for

• Small and medium-sized business access and distribution layers
• Network edge with mixed copper and fiber uplinks
• Office networks requiring VLAN segmentation and basic traffic management
• Rack-mounted wiring closets and communication cabinets

How to use

Install the GES-2128 into a standard 19-inch rack or place it on a stable surface, then connect power and attach network cables to the appropriate RJ45 or SFP ports. Use the switch management interface or LevelOne IP Locator tool to discover the device, view or set the IP address, and configure Layer 2 features such as VLANs, link aggregation and QoS. Ensure SFP modules are compatible when using fiber ports and place the switch in a well-ventilated environment.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, keep firmware updated using LevelOne resources, configure access control and VLANs to segregate traffic, and verify SFP module compatibility for fiber links. Use the IP Locator utility to quickly find device IPs on mixed Windows and Mac networks.
