Outstanding HD Visual Quality

HDMI (High definition multimedia interface) has been specially introduced for full digital transmission of audio and video data, commonly used in home entertainment systems as an alternative to analog standards such as SCART. Due to the high bandwidth, it is an interface which carries uncompressed data and can process all digital formats along with standard, enhanced and HD video.

This Hama High Speed HDMI Cable provides you with the ideal cost effective solution for connection of HDMI compatible devices and transmission of digital video signals and data. Ideal for the connection of HD cameras and camcorders and other devices with a Type D (micro) HDMI socket to a HD TV or Type A HDMI device, it offers perfect, high-resolution full HD quality (4096 x 2160 pixels) with colour space of 30/36/48 bit for your viewing pleasure as well as possessing 100MB/s network functionality due to an integrated Internet/Ethernet channel (HEC) network. Settle down with your friends and family in front of a big screen to watch that hilarious video clip captured on your HD camcorder or to view the pictures of your recent holiday from your digital camera, and be transported into that moment with the outstanding visual imagery and audio/visual transmission thanks to Hama HDMI.

How to use

Connect the micro HDMI (Type D) end to the device with a micro HDMI socket and the standard HDMI (Type A) end to the TV, monitor or other HDMI input. Select the corresponding HDMI input on the display device and, if necessary, adjust the source device’s output settings (resolution or audio format) to match the display capabilities. For network functionality via the Ethernet channel ensure both connected devices support HDMI Ethernet Channel (HEC).

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid sharp bends or kinks in the cable and keep cable runs short to preserve signal integrity. Verify device compatibility for ARC and Ethernet features before relying on those functions.
