Hama Premium UV 390 Nano ultravioletti (UV) kameransuodatin 77 mm

The Hama Premium UV 390 Nano 77 mm is an ultraviolet camera filter made from premium UV lens glass. It reduces haze and unwanted blue cast from UV radiation, preserves colour fidelity and image sharpness, and provides physical protection for the front element of the lens. The filter features a multi-layer NSC18 coating and a nano lotus coating to repel water, oil and dirt while remaining thin to minimise influence on lens balance and field of view.

Advantages

This 77 mm UV filter blocks UV rays up to 390 nm and uses a nine-layer NSC18 vapour-deposited coating on both sides for excellent light transmission and anti-reflective performance. The nano-coating creates a lotus effect for easy cleaning and reduced misting, and both front and rear surfaces are coated to prevent loss of contrast, ghosting and double images. The metal filter mount is black anodised with blackened inner edges to avoid reflections, includes an edge sealant to reduce soiling, and the ultra-thin wide mount design prevents vignetting while remaining stable over temperature changes.

Suitable for

• Outdoor photography in bright or hazy conditions
• Protecting lens front elements from scratches, dust and light impacts
• Landscape and travel photography where colour fidelity and sharpness matter

Key specifications

• Diameter: 77 mm
• Type: UV filter (Ultraviolet) Hama Premium UV 390 Nano
• Coating: NSC18 multi-layer vapour-deposited coating (nine layers per side) and nano lotus coating
• Blocks UV up to: 390 nm
• Mount: black anodised metal with blackened inner edges; ultra-thin wide mount
• Glass quality: premium UV lens glass (HD quality)

How to use

Screw the filter onto the lens front thread (77 mm) until it is snug; avoid overtightening. The ultra-thin wide mount is designed to remain on the lens permanently and helps prevent vignetting on wide-angle lenses. Clean the coated surfaces with a soft microfiber cloth and, if necessary, use lens cleaning fluid suitable for coated optics to remove stubborn dirt or oil.

Recommendations

For best results in reducing haze and preserving colour, use the Hama Premium UV 390 Nano outdoors in daylight, especially for landscape or travel shots. Keep the nano-coated surfaces clean to maintain anti-reflective and water-repellent properties, and store the filter in its protective case when not in use to avoid scratches.
