Hammaskehäistukka Metabo 626724000

Metabo keyed chuck model 626724000 is a geared chuck with an SDS‑Plus adapter that converts an SDS‑Plus rotary hammer to accept cylindrical‑shank drill bits and accessories. The chuck accepts bit diameters from 1.5 mm up to 13 mm (1/2"‑20 UNF) and includes the SDS‑Plus adapter with a 1/2"‑20 UNF male thread and a chuck key for tightening. It is designed for use on rotary hammers with an SDS‑Plus holder and secures tools using a locking screw suitable for both clockwise and counter‑clockwise machines.

Advantages

The geared keyed chuck provides a wide clamping range (1.5–13 mm) and a secure, positive grip for cylindrical‑shank drill bits and accessories. The included SDS‑Plus adapter with 1/2"‑20 UNF thread allows quick conversion from SDS‑Plus shank to a standard threaded chuck connection. The chuck key enables reliable tightening, and the locking screw design permits use on machines that rotate in either direction.

Suitable for

• Converting SDS‑Plus rotary hammers to accept cylindrical‑shank drill bits
• Drilling with cylindrical twist drills and core bits with 1.5–13 mm shanks
• Light to medium drilling tasks in construction and renovation when SDS‑Plus hammering is not required

Key specifications

• Brand: Metabo
• Model / MPN: 626724000
• EAN: 4007430306098
• Chuck type: keyed geared chuck
• Capacity: 1.5–13 mm (1/2"‑20 UNF)
• Adapter: SDS‑Plus adapter with 1/2"‑20 UNF male thread
• Includes: chuck key
• Mounting: for SDS‑Plus holder; locking screw for clockwise and anti‑clockwise machines

How to use

Fit the SDS‑Plus adapter into the rotary hammer's SDS‑Plus holder until it locks. Thread the keyed chuck onto the adapter's 1/2"‑20 UNF male thread and tighten by hand, then use the supplied chuck key to securely clamp the drill bit. Ensure the locking screw is engaged if required by the machine. To remove or change bits, loosen the chuck with the chuck key and withdraw the bit. Follow the rotary hammer manufacturer's instructions for safe operation and tool changes.

Recommendations

Use this keyed chuck when you need to run cylindrical‑shank bits in an SDS‑Plus rotary hammer without hammer action or when a secure, keyed grip is preferred; avoid using it for full‑time hammer drilling with SDS‑specific bits. Check compatibility with your rotary hammer model and periodically inspect the chuck, adapter and locking screw for wear.
