Hätä-seis-sienipainike Legrand LG.038009 230 V AC 6 A 1 NO 1 NC IP44

Legrand LG.038009 emergency stop mushroom pushbutton is a manually operated safety control device housed in a protective enclosure. Designed for use at 230 V AC and rated for switching currents up to 6 A, the unit combines one normally closed (NC) and one normally open (NO) contact to provide both interruption of power and auxiliary signaling or control functions. The mushroom head design ensures a large, easy-to-hit actuator for rapid intervention, while the IP44-rated enclosure offers protection against splashing water and solid objects greater than 1 mm, making it suitable for indoor and sheltered industrial or commercial environments.

Advantages

The device provides a simple and reliable means to stop equipment quickly through a visible, easily accessible mushroom actuator. The combination of one NC and one NO contact allows simultaneous interruption of a main circuit and activation of an auxiliary circuit for signaling or interlock purposes. Its compact protective housing and IP44 ingress protection support installation in environments where occasional moisture or dust is present. The 6 A switching rating and compatibility with 230 V AC systems make it applicable for a wide range of control panels and machinery control points.

How to use

Mount the emergency stop pushbutton in an accessible location on the control panel or enclosure front so the actuator is clearly visible and reachable. Wire the NC contact in series with the power or control circuit you intend to interrupt, and wire the NO contact to the auxiliary circuit for signaling or interlock functions as required by the control scheme. Ensure all wiring is performed with power disconnected and in accordance with applicable electrical codes. Test the device after installation by actuating the mushroom head to verify the main circuit opens and the auxiliary contact changes state, then reset according to the installed mechanism and control logic.

Recommendations

Use the emergency stop only for situations that require immediate interruption of equipment operation. Regularly inspect the actuator, contacts and housing for signs of wear, contamination or mechanical damage. Confirm compatibility with the system’s rated voltage and current before installation, and follow local safety regulations and machine safety standards when integrating the device into safety circuits.
