HDD HPE 146GB 2,5" SAS 15000 kierr./min DEL1002732

The HPE 146GB 2.5-inch SAS 15,000 RPM internal hard drive is a small form factor enterprise drive designed for performance-sensitive server and storage applications. It uses a SAS interface and a high spindle speed to deliver fast data access and sustained throughput for transaction-heavy and latency-sensitive workloads in data centers and enterprise systems.

Advantages

This 2.5-inch SAS drive provides high rotational speed and a SAS connection that together offer low latency and consistent I/O performance. Its compact form factor suits dense server and storage enclosures, allowing higher drive counts per chassis while maintaining enterprise-grade reliability and data integrity.

Suitable for

When it may not be suitable

This 2.5-inch 15K SAS drive is optimized for performance and low latency rather than maximum capacity or lowest cost per gigabyte. For archival storage, bulk capacity needs, or workloads dominated by sequential writes and reads where throughput per cost is more important than IOPS, a higher-capacity SATA or NL-SAS drive may be a better fit.
