HDD-kehikko DeLOCK 18216

This extension frame by Delock adapts a 7 mm SSD or HDD to a larger installation height so it fits in external enclosures or mobile racks that require a 9.5 mm drive height. The frame is made of black plastic and is intended to be attached to the drive to ensure correct insertion and reliable operation of the enclosure or rack mechanism.

Advantages

The lightweight plastic frame provides a simple way to increase drive height from 7 mm to 9.5 mm without modifying the drive. It preserves compatibility with mobile racks and external enclosures and helps prevent issues with drive insertion or the rack mechanism. The black finish matches typical drive bays and maintains a discreet appearance.

Suitable for

• 7 mm SSDs that need to be installed in 9.5 mm drive bays
• External enclosures requiring greater drive height
• Mobile racks where correct drive height is necessary for the mechanism
