How to use

Connect each HDMI source to one of the four HDMI input ports on the rear of the ATEN VS4841 and connect the HDMI output to the display. Power the unit using the supplied adapter. Select the desired input using the front-panel button or the IR remote; the switch will route the selected source to the display while maintaining the source's native HDMI audio and video. The device detects active inputs automatically, enabling quick switching when a new source becomes active.

Recommendations

For stable 4K performance, use high-quality HDMI cables rated for 4K bandwidth and ensure source devices and the display are configured to compatible resolutions and refresh rates. Place the switch in a ventilated area and avoid stacking heavy equipment on top of it. If remote control range is limited, relocate the IR receiver or use line-of-sight for reliable operation.
