HDMI ARC -audioerotin Lindy 38363 Micro-USB 500 mA 5 V

The Lindy HDMI ARC Audio Extractor extracts audio from HDMI ARC sources to analogue and HDMI outputs. It supports resolutions up to 4096x2160@30Hz, HDCP 1.4 and CEC pass-through for remote control via a TV. Compact and lightweight, the unit is powered via Micro-USB (500 mA, 5 V) and includes a USB Type-A to Micro-USB Type-B cable; its small footprint makes it suitable for integration with set-top boxes, consoles, Blu‑Ray players and PC monitors.

Advantages

This HDMI ARC audio extractor provides simultaneous HDMI and analogue (L/R and 3.5 mm) outputs, enabling connection to amplifiers, soundbars or 2-channel speaker systems. It supports multi-channel formats such as Dolby Digital 5.1 and DTS HD for surround sound when routed to compatible audio equipment. The device is HDCP 1.4 compliant and passes CEC signals for basic control through a TV. Its compact silver enclosure and low weight simplify installation in confined setups.

Suitable for

• Extracting audio from TVs with HDMI ARC to analogue receivers or speakers
• Connecting consoles, set-top boxes and Blu‑Ray players to external audio equipment
• Adding external speakers to PC monitors with HDMI input

How to use

Connect the extractor's HDMI input to an HDMI ARC source or the TV's HDMI ARC output as required. Use the HDMI output to pass the video signal to a display and use the analogue L/R or 3.5 mm output to feed an amplifier, soundbar or speakers. Power the unit via the supplied USB Type-A to Micro-USB cable connected to a 5 V USB power source. Ensure source device audio settings are configured to output via HDMI ARC where applicable.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, verify that source and display devices support HDMI ARC and HDCP 1.4. When using multi-channel audio, connect to a compatible receiver or soundbar that can decode Dolby Digital 5.1 or DTS HD. Avoid using power sources that cannot supply the required 500 mA at 5 V.
