HDMI-kaapeli ShiverPeaks 1 m

The ShiverPeaks 1m HDMI cable is a one-metre connection solution designed for transmitting high-definition video and multichannel audio between HDMI Type A devices. Featuring gold-plated contacts, the cable is engineered to reduce contact resistance and help maintain signal integrity. With a rated data transfer capability of 8.16 Gbit/s and a discreet black jacket, this cable is suitable for home and office AV setups where a short, reliable HDMI link is required.

Advantages

Gold-plated HDMI Type A connectors improve contact reliability and corrosion resistance for a stable electrical connection. The 1 m length provides a compact routing option that reduces excess cable clutter while keeping signal path short for minimal attenuation. The cable’s specification supports full HD and many common high-definition formats, delivering synchronized audio and video without separate connections. Its black outer jacket offers a neutral appearance that blends with TVs, monitors, set-top boxes and projectors.

Suitable for

• Connecting a TV to a Blu-ray player, streaming box or set-top box
• Linking a monitor to a laptop or desktop graphics output
• Connecting a projector for presentations in meeting rooms or classrooms
• Short in-room AV runs behind furniture or wall-mounted displays

Key specifications

• Cable length: 1 m
• Connector type: HDMI Type A (Standard) on both ends
• Contact plating: Gold-plated contacts
• Rated data transfer: 8.16 Gbit/s
• Colour: Black

How to use

Connect one HDMI Type A end to the HDMI output of the source device (for example a laptop, Blu-ray player or streaming box) and the other end to the HDMI input of the display device (TV, monitor or projector). Ensure both devices are powered off or on according to their user manuals when making connections to avoid hot-plug issues. After connecting, select the corresponding HDMI input on the display and configure resolution and audio settings as required in the device menus.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid tightly coiling or sharply bending the cable near the connectors, keep it away from high-power cables and large electromagnetic sources, and use the 1 m length for short-distance connections to minimise signal loss. If a different video mode or advanced features (such as higher refresh rates or HDR beyond the cable’s rated bandwidth) are required, verify compatibility with both source and display and consider a higher-specification HDMI cable.
