HDMI-kaapeli ShiverPeaks BS10-40055 5m

The ShiverPeaks BS10-40055 HDMI Cable 5m is a high-speed HDMI connection designed for reliable transmission of audio and video signals across longer distances. With HDMI Type A connectors on both ends and support for HDMI 2.1, the cable delivers up to 48 Gbit/s data throughput and is suitable for high-resolution video formats including 3D and advanced refresh-rate scenarios. Gold-plated contacts provide corrosion resistance and stable contact integrity, while the 5 m length allows flexible placement of TVs, projectors, consoles, and source devices within home entertainment and professional setups.

Advantages

The cable supports HDMI 2.1 bandwidth, ensuring compatibility with high-bandwidth formats and contemporary AV standards. Gold-plated contact surfaces reduce signal degradation and improve long-term durability. A 5 metre length covers typical room distances without the need for extenders, and standard HDMI Type A connectors make the cable compatible with a wide range of displays and source devices. The black jacket offers a neutral appearance that integrates with most installation environments.

Suitable for

• Connecting TVs and home cinema systems to Blu-ray players, set-top boxes, and media players
• Linking gaming consoles to displays for high refresh rates and high-resolution gaming
• Connecting projectors in conference rooms, classrooms, or home theaters
• Extending cable runs between AV receivers and displays within living rooms or studio setups

Key specifications

• Cable length: 5 m
• Connector type: HDMI Type A to HDMI Type A
• HDMI version: 2.1
• Maximum data rate: 48 Gbit/s
• Supported features: 3D and high-resolution video formats

How to use

Connect one HDMI Type A end to the source device (such as a Blu-ray player, console, or AV receiver) and the other end to the display device (such as a TV or projector). Ensure both devices are powered off when plugging in for the first time if possible, then power them on and select the corresponding HDMI input on the display. For optimal signal quality, avoid sharp bends in the cable and keep it away from high-power electrical sources that could introduce interference.

Recommendations

For best performance with high-resolution and high-refresh-rate content, use direct connections without passive splitters. If running the cable through walls or permanent conduits, verify local building codes and use appropriate in-wall rated conduit or sleeve. Periodically inspect connectors for dust or debris and clean contacts gently if needed to maintain reliable signal transmission.
