HDMI-kaapeli ShiverPeaks BS30-04085 15 m

The ShiverPeaks BS30-04085 HDMI cable 15 m is a long-reach connection cable with HDMI Type A connectors on both ends designed for reliable audio-video transmission across greater distances. Its 15-metre length makes it suitable for linking TVs, projectors, AV receivers and monitors where direct short cables are impractical. The cable supports 3D content and provides a transmission capability rated at 17.819 Gbit/s with gold-plated contacts to maintain stable signal contact and resist corrosion over time.

Advantages

This HDMI cable combines extended reach with a single-cable solution for digital audio and video, avoiding the need for additional adapters when connecting standard HDMI Type A devices. The gold-plated contacts lower contact resistance and improve long-term connection reliability. With a rated data transfer rate of 17.819 Gbit/s and support for 3D, the cable is compatible with a wide range of AV sources and displays while keeping installation neat thanks to its single black jacket.

Suitable for

• Connecting a TV or projector to a Blu-ray player, media player or set-top box at distances up to 15 m
• Linking a monitor to an AV receiver or desktop video output in home theatre setups
• Temporary or permanent installations where device placement requires a long HDMI run
• Applications that require 3D signal support and stable digital transmission

How to use

Connect one HDMI Type A plug to the HDMI output of your source device and the other plug to the HDMI input of your display or receiver. Ensure both devices are powered off when you insert the connectors to avoid signal issues, then power them on and select the corresponding HDMI input on the display. If the image or sound is not detected immediately, check the devices' input settings and verify firm seating of the connectors. For long runs, route the cable physically to avoid tight bends and kinks.

Recommendations

Route the cable away from sources of strong electromagnetic interference and avoid sharp bends to preserve signal integrity. For wall or in-ceiling installations, use conduit or cable protectors appropriate for your local regulations and building standards. If you experience performance limitations at the full 15 m length, test with shorter runs or check source and display settings for supported resolutions and refresh rates.
