HDMI-kaapeli ShiverPeaks BS30-05495 40 m

The ShiverPeaks BS30-05495 HDMI Cable is a 40m black HDMI Type A to Type A lead designed for reliable transmission of high-definition video and audio signals over long distances. With a data transfer capability of 17.819 Gbit/s and gold-plated contacts, the cable supports stable connections, improved corrosion resistance and compatibility with 3D content. Its extended length and standard HDMI Type A connectors make it suitable for installations where devices are separated by significant distances.

Advantages

The cable combines a long 40m reach with standard HDMI Type A connectors on both ends, enabling connection between TVs, projectors, AV receivers and media players without intermediate adapters. Gold-plated contacts reduce signal loss and provide better long-term contact reliability. A rated transfer speed of 17.819 Gbit/s ensures sufficient bandwidth for high-definition video and multichannel audio. The black finish integrates discreetly into home, office and professional AV setups.

Suitable for

• Connecting a TV or projector to an AV receiver or media player over long distances
• Fixed AV installations in conference rooms, classrooms or home theaters
• 3D-capable system setups where HDMI Type A connectivity is required

Key specifications

• Cable length: 40 metres
• Connector type: HDMI Type A to HDMI Type A
• Data transfer rate: 17.819 Gbit/s
• Contact plating: gold-plated contacts
• Colour: black

How to use

Connect one end of the HDMI cable to the HDMI output of the source device (for example a Blu-ray player, set-top box or media streamer) and the other end to the HDMI input of the display device (TV, monitor or projector). Ensure both devices are powered off when plugging or unplugging to avoid connector stress. After connection, power on the devices and select the correct HDMI input on the display. If the source and display support automatic negotiation, resolution and audio format will be set automatically; otherwise, adjust settings in device menus.

Recommendations

For best performance over a 40m run, avoid sharp bends and tight coils; keep the cable away from large sources of electromagnetic interference such as unshielded power cables or heavy machinery. Use secure mounting or cable management to reduce strain on the connectors. When installing in fixed locations, test signal quality at the required resolution and audio format before finalizing routing or concealment.
