HDMI-kaapeli ShiverPeaks BS77478-15-E 15 m

The ShiverPeaks BS77478-15-E HDMI cable is a 15 m video connection cable with HDMI Type A connectors at both ends designed for transmitting high-definition audio and video signals between devices. It supports a data transfer rate of 8.909 Gbit/s and 3D video formats, and features gold-plated contacts and a black jacket for improved signal reliability and reduced corrosion.

Advantages

The cable's 15-meter length allows flexible placement of source and display devices while maintaining a stable connection. Gold-plated contacts provide consistent electrical conductivity and resistance to oxidation. A data transfer rate of 8.909 Gbit/s enables transmission of high-definition video and multi-channel audio. The standard HDMI Type A connectors ensure compatibility with a wide range of TVs, projectors, gaming consoles and media players.

Suitable for

• Connecting TVs to set-top boxes, media players or AV receivers
• Linking gaming consoles to displays or capture devices
• Connecting projectors in meeting rooms, classrooms or home cinemas
• Extending signal runs between AV equipment in living rooms or installations

How to use

Connect one HDMI Type A connector to the source device (for example a Blu-ray player, console or set-top box) and the other HDMI Type A connector to the display device (TV, monitor or projector). Ensure both devices are powered off or set to standby before connecting to avoid hot-plug transients. After making the connection, power on the devices and select the corresponding HDMI input on the display. Verify video and audio settings on source and display devices to match desired resolution and audio formats.

Recommendations

For best performance, avoid sharp bends and excessive tension on the cable along its length. Keep the cable away from strong electromagnetic sources and large power cables to minimise potential interference. If using long runs in permanent installations, route the cable without tight kinks and secure it to prevent stress at the connectors.
