The ShiverPeaks BS77478-W HDMI Cable 10m is a high-speed HDMI lead designed for reliable transmission of audio and video signals over longer distances. With HDMI Type A connectors on both ends and gold-plated contacts, the cable provides consistent contact quality and reduced signal degradation. It supports 3D video formats and a data transfer rate of 11.137 Gbit/s, suitable for common home and office AV setups where a 10 metre length is required. The cable comes in a white finish to blend with modern interiors.

Advantages

The cable’s 10 m length allows flexible placement of source and display devices without the need for extenders. Gold-plated contacts improve corrosion resistance and contact reliability for stable signal transfer. A data rate of 11.137 Gbit/s supports high-definition video and multichannel audio. The HDMI Type A connectors are compatible with a wide range of TVs, projectors, Blu-ray players and gaming consoles. The white design provides a discreet appearance when routed along walls or ceilings.

• Linking projectors to laptops or desktop PCs in meeting rooms and classrooms
• Connecting gaming consoles to large-screen TVs or AV receivers
• Permanent or semi-permanent AV installations where a 10 m cable run is needed

How to use

Ensure both source and display devices are powered off before connecting. Insert each HDMI Type A connector fully into the device HDMI ports until a secure fit is felt. Power on the devices and select the appropriate HDMI input on the display. If multiple HDMI inputs are available, choose the input corresponding to the port used. For best performance, avoid sharp bends or tight loops in the cable and keep it away from strong electromagnetic interference sources.

Recommendations

For stable high-definition playback over the full 10 m length, use the cable in environments free from excessive electromagnetic noise and avoid running it parallel to mains power cables. If mounting along walls or ceilings, use suitable clips or cable management to prevent strain on the connectors. Periodically inspect connectors for dust and clean contacts gently if necessary.
