The MicroConnect HDM19F19MA2-8K is an HDMI gender changer with a right-angle (90°) downward orientation, designed to convert or extend HDMI connections in tight spaces. It supports up to 8K at 60Hz and 4K at 120Hz, and features gold-plated contacts and a black housing for reliable signal transfer and a discreet appearance.

Advantages

Gold-plated contacts improve corrosion resistance and help maintain stable signal transmission. The 90° downward design reduces cable strain and saves space behind displays or equipment. Support for high resolutions and refresh rates ensures compatibility with modern AV sources and displays.

Suitable for

• Connecting HDMI cables where straight plugs cannot be used (tight wall or cabinet mounting)
• Extending or reversing HDMI connections without replacing existing cables
• Home theaters, monitors, TVs, and AV racks requiring compact cable routing

Recommendations

For best results, use quality HDMI cables rated for the target resolution and refresh rate. Avoid excessive bending or pulling at the cable-connector junction; if additional strain relief is needed, secure cables with clips or tie wraps.
