HDMI Type-A - HDMI Type-A -kaapelisovitin 4smarts 541489, harmaa, 4 kpl, 40 g

4smarts 541489 is a set of four HDMI Type A to HDMI Type A cable adapters in grey designed to join or extend standard HDMI connections between TVs, monitors, projectors and other AV devices. Each pack weighs 40 g and includes four adapters with a two-year warranty. The adapters are intended to improve accessibility to HDMI ports in confined installations and to allow angled routing of HDMI cables without stressing the device connector.

Advantages

The adapters redirect HDMI connections upward, downward or to the side, making rear ports easier to access in tight installations such as ceiling-mounted projectors, soundbars or wall-mounted TVs. By changing the cable direction they reduce mechanical stress on HDMI ports and help preserve connector lifespan. The grey finish integrates unobtrusively with most AV equipment and the coupler function allows two HDMI cables to be joined to extend cable length while maintaining a stable connection.

Suitable for

• Extending or joining HDMI cables between TVs, monitors and projectors
• Routing HDMI cables in wall-mounted TV installations
• Accessing hard-to-reach rear HDMI ports on AV equipment
• Compact AV racks, media players and ceiling-mounted devices with limited rear clearance

Key specifications

• Connector 1: HDMI Type A (Standard)
• Connector 2: HDMI Type A (Standard)
• Colour: Grey
• Pack quantity: 4 pieces
• Weight per pack: 0.04 kg
• Supported video bandwidth up to current HDMI standards (suitable for up to 8K source devices)

How to use

Choose the adapter orientation that best suits the installation: upwards for elevated ports, downwards for wall-mounted displays or sideways for restricted rear clearance. Insert the male HDMI Type A end into the device HDMI port and connect a standard HDMI cable to the female end or use the coupler to join two HDMI cables. Ensure connections are firm but do not force or bend cables sharply near the connector. Verify signal transmission after installation and replace or reseat adapters if connection is intermittent.

Recommendations

For stable signal performance, use quality HDMI cables and avoid excessive bending or twisting at the connector. If joining two cables, keep total cable length and the number of joints within recommended limits for your video resolution and source device. Store unused adapters in a dry place and inspect contacts for debris before use.
