HDMI-virtalähetinkaapeli Lindy 41080

The Lindy HDMI Power Injector Cable (41080) provides additional 5V power to HDMI accessories that may not receive enough current from the HDMI source. It is intended to be placed inline between an HDMI source and an HDMI accessory—such as active HDMI cables, HDMI-to-VGA converters or HDMI fibre-optic cables—to ensure stable operation when the source device cannot supply sufficient power. The cable has a compact design and comes in black and red.

Advantages

The cable supplies a stable 5V output to support HDCP authentication, EDID exchange and the initial HDMI handshake while delivering extra current to external HDMI devices. It is simple to install, compatible with a wide range of sources and accessories, and eliminates power-related failures in low-power setups by allowing connection to either a source USB port or an external USB power supply.

Suitable for

• Active HDMI cables that require additional power
• HDMI-to-VGA converters and adapters
• HDMI fibre optic cables and other powered HDMI accessories
• Source devices with limited USB/HDMI power (low-power graphics cards, some Blu-ray players, etc.)

• EAN: 4002888410809
• Output voltage: 5 V

How to use

Connect the injector cable inline between the HDMI source and the HDMI accessory so the HDMI connectors remain in the signal path. Then connect the attached USB lead to a USB port on the HDMI source (if it provides sufficient current) or to an external USB power supply (not included). After power is applied, verify that the accessory initializes correctly and that HDCP and EDID exchanges complete.

Recommendations

Use a stable external USB power supply when connecting to sources known to provide limited USB current. Do not assume the HDMI port alone will power accessories; verify device compatibility and connections before prolonged use.
