Ensure both devices are powered on and set the display input to the corresponding DisplayPort port. For highest resolutions and refresh rates, verify that connected devices and display settings support DisplayPort 1.4 and DSC where required.

Recommendations

For stable 8K/120 Hz operation use compatible source and display hardware and the latest drivers or firmware. Avoid tight bends near the connectors and route the cable to prevent sharp kinks. If experiencing handshake or resolution issues, check cable seating, update GPU/display firmware and confirm DisplayPort 1.4/DSC support in device settings.
