Verkkokaapeli helos Ultra ohut 5 m SFTP Cat 6a

Patch cable helos Ultra Slim 5 m SFTP Cat 6a is a 5-metre network patch cord designed to deliver Cat 6a performance in a slim, flexible jacket. The cable features S/FTP shielding — an overall braid with individually foil-shielded pairs — to reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk. Its reduced diameter construction makes it suitable for dense cable installations, under-desk routing and tight conduits while maintaining support for 10 Gigabit Ethernet over 5 m lengths.

Advantages

The helos Ultra Slim SFTP Cat 6a cable combines space-saving physical dimensions with enhanced noise protection thanks to its screened and foil-paired design. The thin jacket and flexible conductors allow easier routing and cable management in racks, patch panels and workstations. Because it meets Cat 6a electrical characteristics, it supports higher bandwidth and improved performance for applications that require low latency and reliable data transfer.

Suitable for

• 10 Gigabit Ethernet connections in offices and data centres
• Server room patching and rack-to-rack links
• Home networks where space-saving cabling is needed
• Environments with potential electromagnetic interference
• Under-desk or conduit installations with limited bend radius

Key specifications

• Cable type: S/FTP (overall braided shield with individually foil-shielded pairs)
• Category: Cat 6a performance
• Length: 5 metres
• Connector type: RJ45 on both ends (shielded)
• Conductor: stranded copper for flexibility
• Bandwidth: up to 500 MHz suitable for 10GBASE-T
• Jacket: slim, flexible outer sheath for reduced diameter

How to use

Connect the shielded RJ45 plug to a compatible shielded port on network equipment or patch panels, ensuring the device chassis or patch panel is properly grounded if required by your installation. Route the cable through racks, cable trays or conduits, avoiding sharp bends and excessive pulling force. For best performance, use the cable for links up to its rated length and keep it separated from large power cables where possible to minimise interference.

Recommendations

For optimum shielding effectiveness, terminate both ends to shielded RJ45 ports and maintain equipment grounding. Use the slim form factor to improve airflow and reduce clutter in densely populated racks; avoid tight bends below the manufacturer’s recommended bend radius to preserve signal integrity.
