Simba‑Dickie BIG 800056733 is a plastic sandbox with outer dimensions of 1380×1380 mm, a green housing and integrated benches. Designed for children from 1 year, the sandpit assembles quickly into four sections using the supplied tool and can be disassembled for compact storage. The product includes a three-piece hard cover that protects the sand from dirt and animals and features an integrated network of waterways on the underside for additional play options.

Advantages

The sandbox is made of weatherproof, UV-stabilized plastic that resists fading and withstands outdoor conditions while remaining easy to clean. Rounded edges and wide seating areas provide safer, more comfortable play for young children. The snap-together assembly system allows fast set-up and compact disassembly without specialised tools, and the three-piece hard cover adds protection plus a water-play feature for boats.

Suitable for

• Outdoor family gardens and backyards
• Preschool and daycare outdoor play areas
• Small playgrounds and communal play spaces
• Indoor use in covered playrooms where space allows

How to use

Assemble the sandbox on a level, stable surface following the included instructions and using the supplied tool to lock the four sections together. Fill the pit with an appropriate depth of clean, sifted play sand and position the three-piece hard cover over the play surface when the sandbox is not in use to protect the sand. The underside waterways of the cover can be filled with a small amount of water for supervised water play with toy boats; always empty and dry the waterways after use to avoid standing water. Regularly inspect the plastic components for damage and clean with mild soap and water as needed.

Recommendations

Use only clean, non-toxic play sand and maintain adult supervision for children under 3 years. Place the sandbox on a level surface with good drainage and avoid positioning under overhanging branches that could drop debris. Store the disassembled sections and cover in a dry place during extended periods of non-use or severe weather to prolong product life.
