Hienoruuvimeisselisarja PicoFinish ESD Wiha

The Wiha Fine screwdriver set PicoFinish ESD includes six precision screwdrivers designed for work on electronic components that are sensitive to electrostatic discharge. Each screwdriver features a long, slim, dissipative handle with a smooth-running rotating cap and a quick-turning zone for controlled, sensitive turning. Handles have a soft ergonomic zone for comfortable grip, and screwdriver symbols are printed on the rotating caps for easy profile identification. The set complies with IEC 61340-5-1 and the tools have a surface resistance in the range of 10^6 to 10^9 ohm, providing controlled dissipation of electrostatic energy to protect delicate components.

Advantages

The PicoFinish ESD fine screwdrivers combine long slim handles and a quick-turning zone to enable precise, careful work on delicate electronic parts. Ergonomic soft zones on the handles improve comfort during extended use, while the smooth rotating cap allows sensitive fingertip control. Printed symbols on the caps simplify selection of the correct profile, and the dissipative handle material safely channels electrostatic energy away. Compliance with IEC 61340-5-1 and a surface resistance between 10^6 and 10^9 ohm ensure ESD-safe operation.

Suitable for

• Precision assembly and adjustment of electronic components
• Repair and maintenance of small devices and circuit boards
• Work on electrostatically sensitive assemblies (ESD-protected areas)
• Hobby electronics and fine mechanical tasks requiring delicate torque control

How to use

Select the correct PicoFinish ESD screwdriver by checking the printed symbol on the rotating cap. Place the screwdriver tip into the fastener and use the smooth rotating cap and quick-turning zone for delicate fingertip turning. Apply controlled torque appropriate to the component and avoid excessive force. Use in an ESD-protected area or on a grounded workstation to maintain the dissipative protection provided by the handles.

Recommendations

Store the screwdrivers in their original pouch or a dedicated tool holder when not in use and regularly inspect tips for wear; replace any damaged tips to maintain precision and ESD safety. For best ESD protection, use together with ESD wrist straps and properly grounded work surfaces.
