If required, switch the built-in phono preamp on or off depending on whether your amplifier or speakers have a dedicated phono input. Start playback using the automatic start function and allow the tonearm to lower onto the record; at the end of the side the turntable will return the tonearm to its rest.

Recommendations

To prolong cartridge and record life, handle records by the edges, keep the stylus and records clean, avoid placing the turntable in direct sunlight or near vibration sources, and use a stable surface to minimize tracking issues.
