Hiomalaikka KWB 495912 5 kpl

Sanding discs KWB 495912, Ø 125 mm, set of 5 pieces designed for sanding wood, paint and plastics on random orbit sanders. The discs have an aluminium oxide abrasive coating with stearate treatment to reduce clogging, a phenolic resin bond and reinforced fabric backing with punch holes for dust extraction.

Advantages

The aluminium oxide abrasive delivers effective material removal and long life on both hard and softwoods and on painted surfaces. Stearate coating helps prevent clogging when working with resinous woods and paints, while the reinforced phenolic-backed construction increases durability during rotary motion. The punched fabric backing enables compatibility with dust-extraction random orbit sanders.

How to use

Attach a disc to a compatible 125 mm random orbit sander following the sander manufacturer's instructions. Use appropriate grit for the task (coarser grits for material removal, finer grits for finishing). Operate the sander with steady, even pressure and keep the tool moving to avoid creating grooves. Use the sander's dust-extraction system when available and replace discs when abrasive performance declines.

Recommendations

Store sanding discs in a dry place away from direct heat and humidity. Wear suitable personal protective equipment such as eye protection, a dust mask and hearing protection when sanding. Test on a small area when working on painted or plastic surfaces to confirm compatibility and final appearance.
