Hiomapaperi Bosch M480 Best for Wood and Paint 2608621166

The Bosch M480 Best for Wood and Paint sanding sheet (2608621166) is designed for sanding and keying both wood and painted surfaces. Constructed from a knitted fabric net, the sheet provides stable handling and consistent sanding behavior. Its open net structure enables full-surface dust extraction during operation and reduces clogging to help maintain a clean working surface. The product is compatible with random orbital sanders and is suitable for fine sanding tasks on various substrates including softwood, hardwood, lacquer, plaster and wood containing resin or oil.

Advantages

The M480 net design allows effective dust removal across the entire sanding surface, reducing airborne dust and improving visibility while working. Its knitted fabric construction supports minimal clogging and stable sanding behavior. An electrostatic grain distribution combined with a fully synthetic resin bond increases durability and wear resistance for longer service life.

Suitable for

• Fine sanding of softwood and hardwood
• Sanding lacquered and painted surfaces
• Keying primers before repainting
• Removing coatings and surface impurities
• Intermediate lacquer sanding and finishing prep

Key specifications

• Brand: Bosch
• Model / MPN: 2608621166
• Product type: Sanding sheet (net)
• Compatibility: Random orbital sanders
• Material: Knitted fabric net with synthetic resin bond
• Features: Open net structure for dust extraction, electrostatic grain distribution

How to use

Attach the sanding sheet to a compatible random orbital sander according to the sander manufacturer's instructions. Use appropriate grit for the task and apply even pressure while moving the sander across the surface. Ensure the sanding dust extraction system is connected and operational to benefit from the full-surface dust removal. Replace the sheet when abrasive performance decreases or clogging occurs despite the net structure.

Recommendations

Use suitable personal protective equipment (dust mask, eye protection) and work in a well-ventilated area. Select the correct grit progression for the material and task, and test on a small area if unsure. Keep the dust extraction connected during use to maintain the sheet’s performance and reduce cleanup.
