Hiomapaperitarvike FEIN 63806204210

The FEIN 63806204210 sanding sheet accessory is a set designed for quick and economical sanding of medium-sized surfaces. It serves as an alternative to eccentric or random orbit sanders, offering stable handling with no kick-back at edges. The kit includes a large perforated triangular sanding pad (edge length 130 mm) with a plastic carrier plate to prevent damage and marks on the workpiece, plus perforated sanding sheets in various grits for versatile sanding tasks.

Advantages

The triangular pad provides good sanding capacity and easy handling for corners and edges. The accessory can be used with or without dust extraction, and the plastic carrier plate reduces the risk of scratching or marking the workpiece. The set includes multiple grit options (60, 80, 180) to cover material removal and finishing needs.

Suitable for

• Sanding medium-sized wooden surfaces
• Removing paint or varnish from edges and corners
• Surface preparation before painting or staining

How to use

Attach the perforated sanding sheet to the triangular pad according to the sander manufacturer's instructions, ensuring secure fit on the hook-and-loop or fastening surface. Operate the sander at appropriate speed for the material and chosen grit; start with a coarser grit (60 or 80) for material removal and finish with grit 180 for finer surfaces. Keep steady, even pressure and move the pad along the surface to avoid gouging.

Recommendations

For best results, match the grit to the task: use grit 60 for heavy material removal, grit 80 for intermediate sanding, and grit 180 for final smoothing. Use dust extraction where possible to reduce airborne dust and extend abrasive life; inspect the plastic carrier plate and sanding sheets for wear and replace when effectiveness decreases.
