VOYAGER XP CURVE SKANNERI VAIN: JOHDOLLINEN YLEISSKANNERI 1D/2D-SCANNER (1400GSR-1)

Scanning barcodes in retail, light warehouse, or office environments often means choosing between speed and reliability—especially when labels are damaged, poorly printed, or displayed on screens. The Honeywell Voyager XP 1400GSR-1 eliminates that compromise. As a tethered general-duty scanner, it delivers aggressive 1D and 2D decoding in a durable, ergonomic package that keeps productivity high without adding complexity.

Who is it for

This scanner is built for frontline workers who need dependable performance shift after shift. It suits retail point-of-sale, pharmacy, light logistics, and office document tracking. If your workflow involves reading barcodes from paper, plastic cards, or mobile device screens, the 1400GSR-1 is a practical upgrade from older laser or linear imagers.

Main features

• High-resolution area imager (1040 x 720 pixels) captures 1D, PDF, 2D, and DotCode symbologies—even on curved, reflective, or low-contrast surfaces.
• Wide field of view (39.2° horizontal, 27.4° vertical) and deep depth of field (15 mm to 370 mm for 13 mil UPC) reduce the need for precise aiming.
• Motion tolerance up to 70 cm/s lets you scan items on a moving conveyor or in a quick swipe motion.
• Durable design withstands 30 drops from 1.8 m to concrete and carries an IP40 rating against dust and debris.
• Flexible host interfaces: USB, RS232, Keyboard Wedge, and IBM 46xx (RS485) via compatible cables (sold separately).
• Low power consumption (2 W operating, 0.45 W standby) and red LED illumination for energy efficiency and eye comfort.
• Backed by a 5-year factory warranty for long-term peace of mind.

Tips

For best results, present barcodes at a slight angle rather than straight-on to reduce glare from glossy labels. The scanner’s wide reading angles forgive imperfect aim, but keeping the scan line perpendicular to the barcode improves speed. If you’re scanning from smartphone screens, disable screen brightness auto-adjust to ensure consistent contrast. Use the appropriate interface cable for your POS system—USB for plug-and-play, RS232 for legacy terminals, or keyboard wedge to emulate keystrokes. Clean the scan window regularly with a soft, lint-free cloth to maintain performance in dusty environments.
