Advantages

This extender pack provides a single, robust cable solution to increase microphone placement options without changing the core AV system. The cable's construction supports consistent signal transfer and a clean appearance in professional spaces thanks to its black finish. Compatibility with POLY Studio X50, X52 and X70 models simplifies integration into existing installations and reduces the need for additional adapters or custom cabling.

Suitable for

• Conference rooms and huddle spaces requiring extended microphone reach
• Meeting rooms with large tables or dispersed participants
• Hybrid workspaces where microphone placement flexibility improves remote audio quality
• AV integrators installing POLY Studio X50, X52 or X70 systems

How to use

Connect one end of the extender cable to the expansion microphone port on the POLY Studio system and route the cable to the desired microphone position. Secure the microphone at the new location and connect the microphone to the free end of the cable. Verify the system recognizes the microphone and test audio levels in the conference room software or room controller. Adjust placement as needed to optimize coverage and reduce background noise.

Recommendations

Route the cable along furniture edges or use cable management clips to maintain a neat installation and reduce trip hazards. For optimal audio performance, position the microphone so it faces the primary speaker area and avoid placing the microphone directly next to noise sources such as HVAC vents or large displays.
