HP yläkansi näppäimistöllä UK hopea taustavalaistu M23769-031

When a ProBook 450 G8 or 455 G8 comes into the service center with a cracked palmrest or a dead keyboard, technicians need a single part that restores the entire top deck. This HP top cover assembly with integrated UK keyboard does exactly that: it replaces the silver aluminum palmrest, the black backlit keyboard, and the power button in one step, without hunting down separate components. It fits HP ProBook 450 G8, 455 G8, 450 G9, and 455 G9 models, making it a versatile stock item for IT repair shops and corporate fleets.

Why choose it

This assembly is a genuine HP service part, so the fit and finish match the original exactly. The aluminum palmrest resists flex and wear, while the backlit keyboard provides clear visibility in low-light offices or on the road. Because the keyboard and top cover come pre-assembled, installation time drops significantly compared to replacing each part separately. For repair businesses, that means faster turnaround and fewer chances for error.

Ideal use cases

• Replacing a damaged palmrest on an HP ProBook 450 G8 or 455 G8
• Upgrading a non-backlit keyboard to a backlit UK layout
• Restoring a laptop after liquid spills or physical damage
• Stocking a common part for corporate IT support teams

Good to know

The touchpad and fingerprint reader are not included; they must be transferred from the old assembly or ordered separately. The keyboard uses a standard chiclet design with a UK English layout, so it is ideal for users in the United Kingdom and Ireland. The internal ribbon cable connects directly to the motherboard, and no additional drivers are needed. This part is new, not refurbished, and is covered by the standard HP service part warranty.
