Verkkomoduuli HP Enterprise 8-porttinen 1G/10GbE SFP v3 zl2 J9993A-RFB

HP Enterprise 8-port 1G/10GbE SFP v3 zl2 J9993A-RFB is a modular network I/O card that provides eight SFP-capable ports supporting both 1 Gigabit and 10 Gigabit Ethernet. The module is designed for compatible HPE networking chassis that accept zl2 modules and enables flexible uplink, stacking and server connectivity options. With support for SFP and SFP+ optics, the J9993A-RFB helps increase port density and simplifies consolidation of server and switch links in data centers and enterprise network environments.

Advantages

The HP Enterprise J9993A-RFB offers a compact 8-port SFP interface that accommodates both 1G and 10GbE transceivers, enabling mixed-speed deployments on the same module. Its zl2 form factor is compatible with HPE chassis designed for zl2 modules, allowing straightforward module installation and integration into existing HPE networking infrastructure. By providing multiple SFP-capable ports, the module supports flexible uplink and stacking topologies, helping to optimize rack and data center port utilization without altering existing cabling for SFP-based optics.

Suitable for

• Expanding uplink capacity in HPE zl2-compatible switches and chassis
• Consolidating server-to-switch connections using SFP or SFP+ transceivers
• Mixed-speed environments requiring both 1G and 10GbE ports
• Data center and enterprise network deployments seeking higher port density

How to use

Install the J9993A-RFB module into an HPE networking chassis that supports zl2 modules according to the chassis installation instructions. Populate the module ports with the appropriate SFP or SFP+ transceivers for the desired link speed and media type, then connect fiber or copper cabling as required. Configure the switch or chassis firmware and network settings to recognize and manage the new ports, assign uplinks, and adjust link aggregation or stacking settings as needed for your topology.

Recommendations

Use optics that match the required link distance and speed (SFP for 1G, SFP+ for 10GbE) and verify compatibility with the HPE platform. Ensure chassis firmware and module firmware are up to date to maintain interoperability and performance. For critical links, consider redundant uplinks and link aggregation to improve availability and throughput.
