Hypertec 848944-HY verkkokaapeli harmaa 0,5 m Cat6a S/FTP (S-STP)

The Hypertec ProConnectLite S/FTP Cat6a Lockable Grey 0.5m (Hypertec 848944-HY) is a short patch cable designed for high-speed network connections. It features S/FTP shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference and RJ-45 connectors on both ends for a secure, lockable fit. The grey jacket provides a neutral appearance suitable for office or data centre environments.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding offers improved protection against crosstalk and external noise compared with unshielded cables, supporting more stable data transmission. The Cat6a specification enables higher bandwidth and better performance for 10 Gigabit Ethernet over short runs. Lockable RJ-45 connectors help maintain a reliable connection in rack or patch-panel installations.

How to use

Inspect both RJ-45 connectors and the cable jacket for visible damage before installation. Insert each connector into the corresponding RJ-45 port until the lock engages. Use the cable for short patch runs between network equipment such as switches, patch panels and servers. Avoid tight bends and keep the cable clear of strong electromagnetic sources for optimal performance.

Recommendations

For best results use this Cat6a S/FTP cable in shielded or grounded installations and avoid exceeding the recommended bend radius. Replace the cable if connectors show wear or if performance drops.
