I/O-moduuli Ajax EN54 124591.280.BL1 langaton osoitteellinen 2 tuloa 2 lähtöä

Ajax I/O module EN54 124591.280.BL1 wireless addressable 2 inputs 2 outputs is a compact wireless interface designed to integrate external detectors, sensors and peripheral devices into Ajax alarm and fire systems. The module provides two monitored inputs for connection of external contact detectors or sensors and two supervised outputs for controlling sirens, relays or other alerting devices. Its wireless addressable design allows installation without additional cabling while maintaining centralized monitoring and control from the Ajax control panel.

Advantages

The module supports addressable wireless communication, enabling reliable two-way data exchange with the Ajax control unit and reporting of input state changes and output activations. Monitored inputs and supervised outputs reduce false alarms by providing end-to-end supervision of connected devices. Compact form factor and flexible mounting options simplify retrofitting into existing installations. Battery-backed wireless operation and low power consumption provide long-term connectivity in typical alarm system setups.

Suitable for

• Connecting external contact detectors or magnetic door/window sensors to an Ajax control panel
• Integrating third-party smoke or heat detectors for unified alarm reporting
• Remote activation of sirens, strobes or relay-controlled devices
• Expanding alarm or fire detection coverage where cabling is impractical

Key specifications

• Wireless addressable interface compatible with Ajax system architecture
• Two supervised inputs for normally open or normally closed contact sensors
• Two supervised outputs for active switching of alerting devices or relays
• Supervision features including tamper and line monitoring
• Low power consumption suitable for battery-backed operation
• Compact dimensions for concealed or visible mounting

How to use

Install the module within radio range of the Ajax control panel, ensuring reliable signal reception. Connect external detectors to the monitored inputs following the sensor polarity and type requirements of the Ajax system. Wire alerting devices or relay coils to the supervised outputs, observing maximum load limits specified by the control system documentation. Enroll the module to the Ajax panel using the system app or administration interface, assign input and output zones, and configure supervision and response parameters to match the installation’s logic and alarm type classification.

Recommendations

Place the module in a protected enclosure if installed in harsh environments, maintain clear radio line-of-sight where possible, and verify signal strength after installation. Regularly test connected inputs and outputs through the Ajax system to confirm correct operation and supervision. Follow local regulations for fire and intrusion alarm system integration and consult the Ajax technical documentation for maximum permissible loads and wiring diagrams.
