How to use

Mount the sensor and its magnet on the door or window frame and the moving sash so that the two parts align when the door or window is closed. Pair the sensor with the Ajax hub following the hub’s device inclusion procedure, then verify communication and battery status through the system app or hub interface. Place the sensor within the wireless range of the hub and secure it using the provided adhesive or screws as appropriate for the installation surface.

Recommendations

Install the sensor on clean, dry surfaces and align the magnet and sensor according to the manufacturer’s alignment marks to ensure reliable detection. Test the sensor after installation and check battery status periodically through the Ajax system interface. For optimal performance, avoid placing the sensor where strong metal objects or thick walls could obstruct radio communication with the hub.
