i-tec USB 3.0 / USB-C / Thunderbolt, 3x 4K telakointiasema Gen 2 + Power Delivery 100W

A professional Gen 2 docking station that supports output to up to three external monitors with resolutions up to 4K. The dock is compatible with most notebooks through USB 3.0, USB-C and Thunderbolt™ 3/4 ports and supports major operating systems. Note that three-monitor output requires a laptop with a Thunderbolt™ 3/4 port or a USB-C port that supports video (USB-C DP Alt mode); when connected via USB 3.0, the dock supports up to two external monitors. Charging for laptops or tablets is supported up to 100 W when the dock is connected to a host that permits power delivery.

Advantages

The docking station provides multiple high-speed Gen 2 USB ports (up to 10 Gbps) for peripherals, a Gigabit Ethernet RJ-45 port for reliable wired network access, and combo audio/microphone jack. It includes 2 DisplayPort and 3 HDMI video outputs (HDMI 3 requires a Thunderbolt™ 3/4 or USB-C with DP Alt mode on the host), a Kensington lock slot for physical security, a power switch for energy saving, and VESA mounting support for installation behind compatible monitors.

How to use

Connect the docking station to your notebook using the appropriate host port (Thunderbolt™ 3/4, USB-C with DP Alt mode, or USB 3.0). Attach external monitors to the DisplayPort and HDMI outputs; verify your laptop’s port capabilities to enable three-monitor output. Plug in USB devices to the Gen 2 ports for data transfer, connect an Ethernet cable for wired network access, and use the combo jack for audio. When supported by the host, connect the dock’s power adapter to enable up to 100 W power delivery to charge the laptop or tablet. Use the dock’s power switch to turn off the unit when not in use to save energy.

Recommendations

For three-screen configurations ensure your notebook has Thunderbolt™ 3/4 or a USB-C port with DP Alt mode. If you connect the dock via USB 3.0, expect support for only two external monitors and note that power delivery/charging will not be available.
