RAIDSONIC ICY BOX 9-in-1-keskitin Power Delivery -tuella, USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C/Type-A -isäntä, alumiini, sininen

The RAIDSONIC ICY BOX 9-in-1 hub with Power Delivery and dual Type-C/Type-A host connection is a compact aluminium expansion device that adds versatile high-speed connectivity to laptops and desktops. With nine ports including USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C and Type-A connections, the hub supports data transfer rates up to 10 Gbit/s and provides Power Delivery to supply up to 100 W to a connected notebook plus an additional dedicated 20 W charging port. A built-in convertible cable ensures compatibility with both USB-C and legacy USB-A hosts, while an integrated LED display shows live power output for convenient monitoring.

Advantages

The aluminium housing improves heat dissipation and provides robust mechanical protection in a slim, desktop-friendly form factor. Multiple high-speed ports let you connect external drives, peripherals and displays with sustained throughput at up to 10 Gbit/s on select ports and 5 Gbit/s on others. Power Delivery support allows the hub to act as both a charger and a data hub, and the included convertible cable eliminates the need for additional adapters. The real-time LED power readout helps manage connected device power consumption.

Suitable for

• Expanding connectivity on USB-C and USB-A laptops and desktop PCs
• Connecting external NVMe or SSD storage for fast data transfers
• Powering and charging notebooks and mobile devices via Power Delivery
• Attaching multiple peripherals such as keyboards, mice, webcams and printers
• Mobile workstations and compact desktop setups where space and cable management matter

How to use

Connect the included convertible cable to the host computer using either the Type-C or Type-A connector depending on the machine. If higher charging or sustained multi-device use is required, connect an appropriate external DC adapter to the hub (12 V, 4 A) and plug the upstream PD port to the notebook to enable Power Delivery up to 100 W. Attach external drives and peripherals to the available USB Type-C and Type-A ports. Monitor the integrated LED display to check live power output and ensure devices receive expected charging current.

Recommendations

For reliable high-speed data transfers, connect storage devices to the ports rated for 10 Gbit/s. When using multiple power-hungry devices or charging a laptop at high wattage, use the external DC input to maintain stable power delivery and avoid overloading the host USB port. Ensure compatible cables and power adapters are used for maximum PD performance.
