IEC-kulma-adapteri ShiverPeaks BS85209 — IEC C13 -liitin naaras kulmikas IEC C14 -liitin uros

The ShiverPeaks IEC Angle Adapter BS85209 converts an IEC C13 socket into a right-angled IEC C14 plug to allow compact, low-profile mains connections where space behind equipment is limited. This adapter provides a simple mechanical solution to redirect standard IEC power leads without modifying cables or devices, enabling a tidy connection between servers, audio/video components, UPS units and other equipment that uses IEC C13/C14 interfaces.

Advantages

This right-angle adapter reduces the rear clearance required for connected power cords and helps prevent strain on cable connectors by changing the cable exit direction. Its compact form allows installation in tight rack spaces and behind furniture while maintaining a standard IEC connection. The adapter is compatible with common IEC C13 power leads, facilitating quick setup and replacement without specialized tools.

Suitable for

• Server racks and data cabinets with limited rear clearance
• Audio and video equipment positioned close to walls or furniture
• Uninterruptible power supply (UPS) connections in constrained spaces
• Workstations, monitors, printers and other devices with IEC C13 inlets

Key specifications

• Connection type: IEC C13 (socket) to right-angled IEC C14 (plug)
• Orientation: 90-degree right-angle plug
• Application: AC mains power redirect for standard IEC power leads
• Compatibility: Designed for standard equipment using IEC C13/C14 interfaces
• Form factor: Compact, low-profile adapter for reduced rear clearance

How to use

Insert the adapter's IEC C14 plug into the device's IEC C14 inlet or into an appropriate IEC C14 receptacle, then connect the IEC C13 power cord to the adapter's socket. Ensure the connection is fully seated and that the cable is routed in the desired direction to avoid tension on the connector. Verify mains power is switched off before making or breaking the connection when working with powered equipment.

Recommendations

Use this adapter to change cable exit direction and reduce strain on connectors; avoid exposing it to excessive mechanical force, moisture or temperatures outside the device operating range. For high-current applications or permanent installations, confirm that the adapter meets the required electrical ratings of the equipment and local electrical regulations.
