InfiniBand/kuitu-AOC-kaapeli BlueOptics BO353503J50MIN 50 m OM3 SFP+–SFP+ aqua

AOC OM3 multi-mode active optical cable, 50 m length, with SFP+ male connectors at both ends and LSZH jacket. Designed for high-speed 10 Gbit/s links and short- to medium-range data center interconnects, the cable comes in aqua colour and uses OM3-grade multimode fiber optimized for 10 Gbit/s transmission.

Advantages

The OM3 AOC provides reliable 10 Gbit/s performance over 50 m without the need for electrical-to-optical transceivers at each end, reducing power consumption and latency. The LSZH jacket minimizes harmful smoke and halogen emissions in case of fire, making it suitable for indoor and data centre environments. Pre-terminated SFP+ male connectors simplify installation and ensure consistent optical performance.

Key specifications

How to use

Ensure both network devices have compatible SFP+ ports and are powered down or in a safe maintenance state before inserting the AOC. Align and insert each SFP+ male connector into the corresponding port until it latches. After installation, verify link status and configure network settings as required. Handle the cable by the connector housings and avoid sharp bends below the manufacturer's minimum bend radius.

Rekomendations

Store and route the cable in environments compliant with LSZH requirements, avoid exposure to excessive mechanical stress, and verify compatibility with your switches or transceivers before purchase.
