InfiniBand/kuitu-kaapeli SFP+ BlueOptics OS6450S-CBL-1M 1 m uros/uros

The BlueOptics OS6450S-CBL-1M is a 1 meter InfiniBand/fibre optic cable equipped with SFP+ male connectors on both ends. Designed for short-reach, high-speed links, this cable supports reliable data transmission between compatible SFP+ ports in networking equipment. Its single-meter length and robust connector design make it suitable for tightly spaced rack environments and point-to-point connections in data centers and high-performance computing setups.

Advantages

This BlueOptics SFP+ cable provides low-latency, high-bandwidth connectivity with minimal signal loss over short distances. The male/male SFP+ terminations ensure direct insertion into SFP+ cages without additional adapters. Its compact form factor and standardized SFP+ interface simplify installation and replacement, while the one-meter length reduces excess cable slack, improving airflow and cable management in server racks.

How to use

Insert each SFP+ connector into the corresponding SFP+ port on networking devices, ensuring the latch mechanism engages securely. Verify link status on both devices and check that the connected ports are configured for matching speed and duplex settings if required. For best performance, avoid tight bends in the cable and keep it clear of sources of electromagnetic interference.

Recommendations

Store and handle the fibre optic cable by its connectors and outer jacket; avoid kinking and maintain a minimum bend radius as specified by device manufacturers. Use the 1 m length where short, direct connections are required to optimize airflow and reduce cable clutter in racks. Confirm SFP+ compatibility with your equipment before installation.
