InfiniBand-kuitukaapeli BlueOptics CBL-25GSFP28-AOC-3M-BO 3 m SFP28 uros/uros

The BlueOptics CBL-25GSFP28-AOC-3M-BO is a 3 m active optical cable (AOC) with SFP28 male-to-male connectors designed for 25G data links. It implements a 25GBASE-SR4 multimode optical interface with integrated transmitter and receiver modules on each end, enabling full-duplex optical transmission over a pre-assembled cable. The cable is intended for use in data centers and enterprise networks where a compact, plug-and-play SFP28-to-SFP28 fiber connection is required.

Advantages

The AOC offers immunity to electromagnetic interference and eliminates the need for separate patch cords and connector polishing, resulting in a consistent low-loss optical link. Built according to MSA standards for SFP28 interfaces, the cable includes digital diagnostics monitoring (DDM/DOM) for real-time readout of supply voltage, laser bias current, transmit power, receive power and temperature when supported by host hardware. The pre-assembled multimode fiber design reduces installation time and simplifies cable management in dense rack environments.

Key specifications

How to use

Insert each SFP28 connector into the corresponding SFP28 port on your networking equipment until the latch engages. Ensure the host ports are compatible with 25G SFP28 AOCs and that any required firmware settings permit use of third-party AOCs. If DDM/DOM features are needed, verify that your switch or server reads diagnostic values from SFP28 modules. Avoid sharp bends in the cable and secure routing to prevent stress on the connectors during operation.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, install the AOC in clean rack environments and route the cable with minimum bend radius recommended for the assembly. Confirm compatibility with your switch, router or storage hardware before deployment and check diagnostic readings after installation to verify correct optical power and temperature parameters.
