Thanks to a high-quality CCA alloy of copper-clad aluminum conductors with 40% copper content, it offers improved conductivity compared to conventional CCA cables. This reduces electrical resistance and enables stable transmission at up to 10 Gbit/s over distances of up to 10 meters.
Another advantage: the cable is 4PPOE-capable and supports PoE, PoE+ and PoE++ with up to 90 watts of power. This means that IP cameras, VoIP telephones and access points can be efficiently supplied with power via the network cable - a cost-effective solution for professional applications.The double shielding (S/FTP) minimizes interference and ensures a stable connection even in demanding environments such as data centers, industrial halls or office buildings. The halogen-free TPE jacket (LSZH) is not only flame-retardant, but also particularly flexible – ideal for installations with limited space.

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 connector to your network device (switch, router or NIC) and the other connector to the corresponding port on a patch panel, switch or workstation. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference; maintain proper bend radius to preserve Cat6a performance. For installations with multiple cables, use colour coding to simplify identification.

Recommendations

Use this Cat6a S/FTP cable for short to medium patching runs (typical 2 m length). Avoid excessive tension or repeated bending near the connector boots. For permanent installations or runs exceeding recommended distances, consider solid-core, pure-copper cables and verify PoE/4PPOE power requirements against CCA conductor limitations.
