InLine 74900M verkkokaapeli magenta 10 m Cat6a S/FTP (S-STP)

Space-saving design for maximum port density: Approx. 40 % less space required than conventional AWG26 patch cables – ideal for network cabinets and server rooms.
High-quality copper conductors for maximum performance: Full Cat.6A transmission quality with up to 10 Gbit/s over lengths of up to 30 meters.
PoE support up to 87 watts (4PPoE): Enables energy-efficient operation of IP cameras, access points or VoIP telephones without additional power supply units.
Sustainable & economical: Approx. 25% material savings reduce transportation and manufacturing costs and improve the CO2 balance.
Flexible, safe TPE sheath (LSZH): Flame-retardant, halogen-free and particularly flexible for narrow installation paths.

The InLine® Slim Cat.6A S/FTP patch cable seriescombines highest network performance with maximum space and energy efficiency. Thanks to the particularly slim design with AWG28 conductors, these cables enable a significantly higher port density in network cabinets and ensure improved air circulation, which increases cooling and efficiency.

In contrast to conventional, thinner AWG32 cables, this cable supports full Cat.6A transmission quality at up to 500 MHzand 4PPoEwith up to87 watts. This makes it the ideal solution for professional applications where a combination of space-saving, PoE capability and high performance is required.

The use of high-quality copper conductors minimizes signal loss and ensures a reliable network connection - even over distances of up to 30 metres. The S/FTP double shielding reliably protects the cable from electromagnetic interference.

In addition to its technical performance, this cable also offers ecological benefits: Approx. 25% less material usedreduces transportation costs and, in the long term, environmental taxes in accordance with future Green Law requirements.

The TPE sheath (LSZH)combines flexibility with fire protection: It is halogen-free, flame-retardant and ensures minimal smoke development in the event of fire – ideal for safety-critical applications.

InLine 74900M. Cable length: 10 m, Cable standard: Cat6a, Cable shielding: S/FTP (S-STP), Connector 1: RJ-45, Connector 2: RJ-45, Connector contacts plating: Gold, Data transfer rate: 10000 Mbit/s, Product colour: Magenta

How to use

Connect one RJ‑45 plug to the network switch, patch panel or PoE injector and the other RJ‑45 plug to the target device (for example an IP camera, access point or workstation). Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch engages. Maintain bend radii appropriate for slim cables and avoid sharp kinks; route the cable through cable management systems or ducts where possible. For best performance, keep cable runs within the specified maximum distance and follow T568B wiring for consistent termination.

Recommendations

Use this slim Cat.6A S/FTP cable in high-density racks and cabinets where space and airflow are critical. For PoE devices, verify switch or injector power budgets to ensure combined PoE draw does not exceed supported power per port or system. In safety-sensitive buildings, LSZH sheathing reduces harmful emissions in case of fire.
