InLine Mini SAS HD -kaapeli, SFF-8643 kulmaliitin - 4x SFF-8482 + virta, 1 m

The InLine Mini SAS HD cable SFF-8643 angled to 4x SFF-8482 + power (1 m) is an internal SAS cable for connecting a device with a Mini SAS HD 4i (SFF-8643) interface to up to four drives or backplane connectors using SFF-8482 connectors with integrated power. The 1 meter length and angled SFF-8643 plug are intended for use in server or storage chassis environments where space is limited and cable routing must be efficient.

Advantages

This cable supports high-speed SAS data transfer between a Mini SAS HD (SFF-8643) host or controller and multiple SFF-8482 drive connectors with power, reducing the need for separate power cabling. The angled SFF-8643 connector eases installation in tight spaces and helps improve airflow and cable management inside racks or chassis. Built in a black jacket and specified for internal use, it simplifies connecting controllers to backplanes or individual SAS hard drives.

Suitable for

• Connecting a Mini SAS HD (SFF-8643) controller to a backplane
• Hooking a SAS controller to up to four SFF-8482 hard drives
• Internal cabling in servers, storage enclosures and workstations
• Environments requiring compact cable routing and improved airflow

Key specifications

• Cable length: 1 m
• Connector 1: SFF-8643 (Mini SAS HD), angled
• Connector 2: 4 × SFF-8482 with integrated power
• Product colour: Black
• Brand: InLine, MPN: 27633B, EAN: 4043718211869

How to use

Power off the system before connecting internal SAS cables. Insert the angled SFF-8643 connector into the corresponding Mini SAS HD port on the controller or host card, ensuring correct orientation. Connect each SFF-8482 plug to the target drives or backplane connectors; the SFF-8482 connectors include power contacts for powering compatible SAS drives. Secure cables to prevent strain on connectors and restore power to verify device detection and link status via the controller's management utility.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, use this internal cable only in compatible server or storage hardware, avoid sharp bends or excessive pulling, and follow ESD precautions when handling. Verify drive and controller compatibility with SFF-8482 power wiring before installation.
