InLine Solid asennuskaapeli SF/UTP Cat.5e AWG24 CCA PVC 100 m

The InLine Solid Installation Cable SF/UTP Cat.5e AWG24 CCA PVC 100m is a 100‑metre network cable intended for structured cabling and patch installations. It conforms to Cat5e category wiring and uses SF/UTP shielding to reduce interference. The cable has a beige outer jacket and a solid conductor made from copper-clad aluminum (CCA), which offers a cost-effective alternative to full copper cabling.

Advantages

This cable provides Cat5e performance characteristics for typical local area network applications at short to moderate distances. The SF/UTP shielding improves signal integrity in environments with potential electromagnetic interference. The solid AWG24 conductor and PVC jacket make the cable suitable for fixed installations in walls, conduits, and cable trays. The CCA construction reduces material cost while maintaining basic transmission capability.

Suitable for

• Residential Ethernet connections
• Small office network cabling and horizontal runs
• Structured cabling in patch panels and distribution points

Key specifications

• Category: Cat5e (SF/UTP)
• Conductor type: Solid CCA (copper-clad aluminum), AWG24
• Shielding: SF/UTP (overall foil + braided screen)
• Jacket material: PVC
• Length: 100 m
• Colour: Beige

How to use

Run the cable through walls, conduits, or cable trays to reach patch panels, switches, or wall sockets. Terminate each end with Cat5e RJ45 connectors or punch down to keystone jacks according to standard wiring schemes (T568A or T568B). Ensure proper grounding of shielded panels or connectors when using the SF/UTP shield to obtain the expected reduction of interference.

Recommendations

Note: The conductor is CCA (copper-clad aluminum). For longer runs (approximately over 50 m) or installations requiring guaranteed full Cat5e performance and maximum power delivery for PoE, consider using full copper (CU) Cat5e/Cat6 cables. Avoid excessive bending or mechanical stress and keep the cable away from strong electrical noise sources when possible.
