InLine TAE-N -kaapeli, TAE-N / RJ11 6P4C, 3 m

The InLine TAE-N cable InLine 18813 is a 3-meter connection cable with a TAE-N connector on one end and an RJ11 6P4C connector on the other. Designed for voice and low-speed data applications, the cable provides a direct link between German-standard telephone outlets and devices with RJ11 ports such as telephones, fax machines and external modems. Its black jacket offers a neutral appearance suitable for both home and office environments while the 3 m length allows flexible placement of connected equipment.

Advantages

The cable delivers a simple and reliable wired connection between TAE-N wall sockets and RJ11-equipped devices, minimizing signal loss across short indoor runs. Construction with standard insulated conductors and molded connectors reduces the chance of intermittent contact and wear. The 3 m length covers typical desk-to-wall distances without the need for extensions, while the neutral black outer sheath conceals the cable easily along furniture or baseboards.

Suitable for

• Connecting landline telephones to TAE-N wall sockets
• Linking external modems or fax machines with RJ11 ports to German telephone outlets
• Temporary or permanent wiring in home offices and small business workstations

Key specifications

• Cable length: 3 meters
• Connector A: TAE-N (German telephone plug)
• Connector B: RJ11 6P4C
• Color: black
• Usage: analogue voice and low-speed data transmission
• Cable type: single-ended telephone patch cable with molded plugs

How to use

Insert the TAE-N connector into the corresponding wall socket with an audible click to ensure secure seating, then plug the RJ11 connector into the device's telephone or modem jack. Verify that both ends are fully inserted; loose connections can cause noise or intermittent operation. For best results, route the cable so it is not sharply bent near the connectors and avoid running it alongside high-voltage power lines to reduce potential interference.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, use this cable for indoor connections under normal room temperatures. Avoid exposing the cable to moisture, excessive heat, or mechanical strain. If a longer run is required, use a single higher-quality cable rather than chaining multiple short cables to reduce reflection and contact issues.
