IP-kamera Instar IN-8403 2K+ 2560×1440 PoE

Instar IN-8403 2K+ 2560×1440 PoE is an IP surveillance camera designed to provide high-resolution video for home and small business monitoring. With a 2560×1440 sensor, the camera records detailed images that improve identification of faces and objects compared to standard HD models. Power over Ethernet (PoE) support enables network connectivity and power delivery through a single cable, simplifying installation and reducing cable clutter. The camera is suitable for continuous recording, remote viewing, and integration into existing IP surveillance systems.

Advantages

The IN-8403 delivers enhanced image clarity at 2K+ resolution, which helps capture finer details in both daytime and well-lit night conditions. PoE compatibility reduces installation complexity by eliminating the need for a separate power supply and enables centralised power management. The camera’s network-ready design supports remote monitoring and recording to NAS or NVR devices, allowing flexible storage and playback options. Built with typical IP camera durability, it is intended for regular indoor or sheltered outdoor use when mounted appropriately.

Suitable for

• Home security and monitoring of entrances, living spaces and driveways
• Small business surveillance in retail, offices and service counters
• Continuous recording and remote monitoring via local network or internet
• Integration with NAS, NVR or third-party video management systems

Key specifications

• Image resolution: 2560 × 1440 pixels (2K+)
• Connectivity: Ethernet with Power over Ethernet (PoE) support
• Video output: IP stream for network recording and remote viewing
• Suitable recording modes: continuous recording and scheduled recording
• Mounting: wall or ceiling mount capable (mounting hardware dependent)
• Typical use environment: indoor or sheltered outdoor locations when protected from direct weather exposure

How to use

Install the camera at a location that provides a clear field of view for the monitored area, such as above entrances or covering main activity zones. Connect the camera to a PoE-capable network switch or injector using a single Ethernet cable to provide both power and data. Configure the camera through its web interface or compatible management software to set network parameters, motion detection areas and recording schedules. For storage, point the camera’s recording destination to an NVR, NAS device or cloud service supported by the camera; verify retention and overwrite settings to match your storage capacity and recording needs.

Recommendations

Position the camera at a height and angle that minimises glare and obstructions; avoid direct sunlight into the lens for best image quality. Use a PoE switch with adequate power budget to support continuous operation and consider UPS protection for the network equipment to ensure uninterrupted recording during power interruptions.
