IP-valvontakamera ABUS TVIP68511 3840 × 2160 sisä- ja ulkokäyttöön

The ABUS TVIP68511 is an 8 MP (3840 x 2160) IP PoE mini tube security camera designed for indoor and outdoor use. Its compact bullet form factor and wide 107° horizontal field of view make it suitable for discreet wall or ceiling mounting in offices, commercial premises and homes. Power over Ethernet (PoE) enables data and power over a single network cable, simplifying installation and reducing wiring costs in hard-to-reach locations.

Advantages

The camera provides efficient start-up with a browser- or recorder-accessible user interface and quick configuration via the ABUS IP Installer. Intelligent video analysis automatically distinguishes between people and vehicles, reducing false alarms and limiting recorded events to relevant motion. Strong video compression and support for recorder, NAS or microSD storage minimise storage requirements. Wide dynamic range (WDR 120 dB) and built-in infrared LEDs ensure consistently clear images in scenes with strong backlight and in low-light or night conditions.

Suitable for

• Office and company premises monitoring
• Retail stores and commercial spaces
• Home security for entrances and outdoor areas
• Discreet wall- or ceiling-mounted surveillance

How to use

Mount the camera on a wall or ceiling in the desired monitoring position and connect it to a PoE-capable switch, router or recorder using a single network cable to provide power and data. Access the camera interface from a PC browser or through a compatible recorder/monitor to view the live image and perform initial setup. Use the ABUS IP Installer for fast discovery and configuration. Configure detection settings such as person/vehicle filters, schedules and privacy zones as needed, and select the preferred storage location (recorder, NAS or microSD).

Recommendations

Position the camera to avoid direct exposure to strong light sources where possible and enable WDR for scenes with high contrast. Use PoE for simplified installation in hard-to-reach areas and set person/vehicle detection to reduce unnecessary recordings. For continuous monitoring and longer retention, connect the camera to a recorder or NAS rather than relying solely on limited microSD storage or the free mobile stream limit.
