Irix Edge MMS Vari ND 2-5 -magneettinen muuttuva harmaasuodatin (95mm, 1-5 aukkoa)

Controlling exposure in bright conditions while maintaining a wide aperture for shallow depth of field or achieving long-exposure effects often requires a reliable variable neutral density filter. The Irix Edge MMS Vari ND 2-5 solves this by offering a continuously adjustable light reduction from 1 to 5 stops in a single 95mm filter, eliminating the need to carry multiple fixed ND filters. Its magnetic mount system allows for quick and secure attachment, while the high-quality optical glass ensures sharp, color-neutral images.

Who is it for

This filter is ideal for photographers and videographers who shoot in changing light conditions and need to adjust exposure quickly without swapping filters. It suits landscape photographers seeking silky water effects, portrait photographers wanting wide apertures in daylight, and filmmakers needing precise exposure control without changing camera settings.

Main features

• Variable neutral density from ND2 (1 stop) to ND32 (5 stops) for flexible light control.
• Magnetic Mount System (MMS) for fast, secure attachment and removal.
• 95mm diameter fits lenses with 95mm filter threads.
• High-quality optical glass with multi-layer anti-reflective, hydrophobic, oleophobic, and anti-scratch coatings.
• Neutral color rendition with no noticeable color shift.
• Slim aluminum frame with front threads for stacking or lens cap.

Tips

When using a variable ND filter at its maximum density, be aware of potential vignetting on ultra-wide lenses. For best image quality, avoid stacking additional filters unless necessary, as each added glass surface can introduce reflections. Clean the filter with a microfiber cloth and lens cleaning solution to maintain the hydrophobic and oleophobic coatings.
