Jalusta Manfrotto MT190XPRO3

The Manfrotto MT190XPRO3 is a compact 3-section aluminium tripod designed for digital and film cameras. It supports up to 7 kg and adjusts from 9 cm to 160 cm in height while weighing approximately 2 kg, offering a balance of portability and stability for a wide range of photography and video applications.

Advantages

The tripod features a 90° centre column mechanism that converts between vertical and horizontal orientations without disassembly, allowing versatile framing and low-angle or macro shooting even with a camera attached. Quick Power Lock levers enable fast, single-handed extension and more secure locking of each leg section, improving rigidity compared with traditional designs. An integrated bubble level rotates freely around the centre column for convenient and precise leveling, and an Easy Link connector on the top casting allows attachment of accessories such as lights or reflectors.

Suitable for

• Landscape and architecture photography
• Macro and low-angle shooting
• Studio and on-location portrait sessions
• Video recording with compact camcorders or mirrorless/DSLR cameras
• Travel photography when a durable yet portable tripod is needed

How to use

Extend the tripod legs using the Quick Power Lock levers and set each leg angle with the ergonomic angle selectors to achieve the desired height and stance. Use the 90° centre column mechanism to switch between vertical and horizontal column positions — this can be done without removing the camera. Position the rotating bubble level so it is visible while you adjust the tripod for precise framing. Mount your head and camera on the top casting and, if needed, attach accessories to the Easy Link connector.

Recommendations

For best stability, ensure each Quick Power Lock is fully closed before mounting heavy equipment and set the legs to an appropriate wide angle for low-angle or windy conditions. When using the horizontal centre column, confirm the column is fully engaged in the top casting and balance the load to avoid torque on the head.
