Jiiri- ja ohjauslaatikko Wolfcraft 6948200 — jiiriohjain, mittausalue 85–180°, laudoille enintään 3 cm, musta

The wolfcraft GmbH 6948200 bevel gauge and mitre box combines angle measurement and sawing guidance in one tool to produce precise mitres for baseboards and mouldings. It measures corner angles from 85° to 180° with two movable arms and accepts boards up to 30 mm thick. The tool eliminates the need to transfer angles to a separate saw and is suitable for use in straight and skewed corners commonly found in older buildings.

Advantages

The integrated bevel gauge and mitre box provides a straightforward two-step workflow: measure the corner with the two moving arms, then place the board into the guides and saw with the backsaw. An automatic angle bisector formed by two guide pins ensures accurate mitre joints. The unit’s robust construction and clear guides reduce measuring errors and speed up fitting of skirting boards and trim.

Suitable for

• Measuring and cutting skirting boards (baseboards)
• Creating precise mitres for mouldings and trim
• Working in skewed or irregular corners in older buildings
• Woodworking tasks with boards up to 30 mm thickness

How to use

Place the tool in the corner and adjust the two movable arms to match the wall edges; the device will indicate the corner angle between 85° and 180°. Transfer the measured setting to the mitre box by positioning the board in the provided guides. Use a backsaw to cut along the guide; the two guide pins act as an automatic angle bisector to create an accurate mitre. Check the cut against the adjoining piece and make minor trimming if necessary.

Recommendations

For best results, clamp the mitre box or secure the workpiece to prevent movement while sawing, and ensure the backsaw blade is sharp and suitable for fine trim cuts. Maintain maximum board thickness within 30 mm as specified.
