The JJC ALC-SH174 replacement lens hood is specifically designed for the Sony FE 20-70mm F4 G (SEL2070G) lens. This petal-shaped hood effectively blocks stray light, reducing lens flare and ghosting while also providing physical protection for the front element. Made from high-impact ABS plastic with a non-glare matte interior, it ensures optimal image quality in various lighting conditions.

Advantages

This lens hood offers several key benefits: it minimizes lens flare and glare, enhances contrast, and protects the lens from accidental bumps, dust, and fingerprints. The reversible design allows for easy storage when not in use, and the bayonet mount ensures quick and secure attachment. It is compatible with 72mm filters, so you can still use your favorite filters with the hood attached.
